Globalisation strategy with trade fair participation as an important sales channel

Brief overview of the assignment:

Ymer Technology is pursuing a development strategy intended to position the company as the world's strongest supplier of innovative and highly specialised cooling stems for wind power.

Ymer Technology has chosen to participate in trade fairs as an important part of its sales efforts and since 2010 has participated in a number of international trade fairs, including the WindEnergy trade fair held every other year in Hamburg and has recently added Wind Europe Offshore in Copenhagen.

Exhicom Expo Competence inaugurated its working relationship with Ymer Technology in 2012. The co-operation consists of designing and updating the stand solutions from year to year, so they follow developments at the company and support the Ymer Technology brand as a world leader in its field. The stand design needs to be simple and stylistically pure with clear messages, while at the same time delivering optimum utilisation of the exhibition area as regards product presentation, contact possibilities and meeting facilities.

The assignments are turnkey deliveries, encompassing design development, project management, production of new equipment, installation on-site and internal/external logistics with storage of the customer's exhibition material.

Ymer Technology A/S is a part of Ymer Technology AB, a Swedish-owned corporation having a physical presence in Europe, the US and Asia. In addition to cooling systems for wind power, the corporation also delivers cooling systems for construction equipment and agricultural machines.

The WindEnergy trade fair in Hamburg addresses the entire international wind power sector. The industrial exhibition takes place in Hamburg every other year and attracts over 1400 exhibitors, who present their latest and most innovative solutions.
